Alan Konell, M.S.W. is a Certified Trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the Director of Carolina Clinical Consulting in Chapel, N.C. He has been a clinical instructor at The University of North Carolina Medical School, where he helped alleviate the suffering of patients with fibromyalgia, migraines and idiopathic chronic pain. He has presented seminars for Fortune 500 companies and staffs in major teaching hospitals. In addition to Certification Training in NLP, he has offered seminars in strategic psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, emotional balancing, healing chronic pain and personal evolution. He is the author of Partnership Tools: Transforming the Way We Live Together and The Six Week Pain Solution: A Radically Effective New Approach to Fibromyalgia, Back Pain, Migraines and More He is the creator of “Maximum Test Performance,” that has helped many students dramatically improve their scores in class exams, standardized tests and professional boards.
Alan received his B.A. in psychology from the University of Rochester in 1972 and his M.S.W. from the University of Michigan School of Social Work in 1975. He is the father of two grown daughters and currently lives in Chapel Hill, N.C. with his wife of 32 years and numerous pets.
